ABSTRACT
The massive development of basic infrastructure in various regions is the cause of the boom in cement marketing. In this era of globalization, the world of production has developed very rapidly, supported by increasingly sophisticated technology, companies are required to improvise more in terms of developing employee performance. Improving employee performance can be done by providing work motivation and enforcing work discipline. This study aims to test and determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees in the mineral materials sector at PT. Varia Usaha Beton, Pandaan Branch. This study aims to determine the effect of this study using quantitative research. The population in this study were production employees at PT. Varia Usaha Beton Pandaan branch, the number of which was known to be 40 people. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sample. the results of this study indicate that work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation and work discipline simultaneously affect performance employee of the mineral sector at PT Varia Usaha Beton Pandaan Branch.
